  • Demonstrates exceptional control of sentence structure and appropriate use of language and word choice, mastery of usage, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Demonstrates adequate understanding of the major concepts of a "Broadside." The issue is presented creatively but the focus is not clearly stated. The demands are realistic and logical but not persuasive, or the demands are persuasive but not realistic.
  • Communicates successfully the thinking process.
  • Demonstrates adequate control of sentence structure with appropriate use of language and word choice. Some mechanical errors are evident but none that interfere with the message.
  • Demonstrates limited understanding of the concepts of a "Broadside" The issue is presented and some focus and direction is provided with some creativity. The demands are not logical or realistic or persuasive.
  • Communicates on a limited basis
